My piece Drip Feeder for piano and 1-bit synth has been selected by the ISCM British Section Board to be submitted to the International Jury for the ISCM 2024 in the Faroe Islands. Super honoured to be put up for this amongst a group of super talented composers.

Workers Union ‘On and Off & To & Fro’ Tour
Workers Union Ensemble have been selected for Sound and Music’s Composer-Curator Programme for 2014/2015, which is funded by the Paul Hamlyn Foundation.
We will tour Simon Steen Andersen’s On And Off And To And Fro (2008) for soprano saxophone, double bass, vibraphone and three players with megaphones alongside five new commissions. I will be on conducting duties as usual and will also pen a new piece for my Workers mates!
SAM New Voices
I’m delighted to be one of the 2014 Sound and Music British Music Collection ‘New Voices’. There is a rather lovely new website detailing the new cohort of composers:

Selected as BBC Symphony Orchestra and Sound and Music Embedded Artist
I’ve been selected as one of three composers for the SAM Embedded Residency with the BBC SO. The other composers are Tom Coult and Aaron Holloway-Nahum.
We will write pieces for the orchestra over the coming year, which will be performed and recorded at Maida Vale in November 2013. We will also get the chance to try out some of our ideas in workshops early in 2013. This is obviously an amazing opportunity to take some risks and try some things out, and pretty special to be selected in such a competitive atmosphere!
